TWO 1970 PLYMOUTH SUPERBIRDS FOUND IN A BASEMENT, STORED SINCE 1990!

I have written about a lot of amazing finds and I dream of finding a special car someday. Well, if you didn’t know, my dream has always been to find a Superbird or a Charger Daytona in a barn. Well, someone did find two Superbirds. However, they weren’t in a barn, they were in a basement. Yes, you read that right, IN A BASEMENT! These 1970 Plymouth Superbirds were found in a basement in Pennsylvania and they come with a very interesting story.

This is the kind of story that you can’t make it up. The story goes that the first owner had 4 Superbirds. They were parked in his driveway, however, one day in 1990 he moved 2 of them to his basement and he forgot them. They were sitting there since 1990 until the current owner worked out a deal. I am just amazed by this story. Not one but two of them were in a small basement. I don’t even know how did they get the cars out of the basement without damaging the wings. The cars were completely restored and then parked. I don’t know why would somebody restore 2 cars and leave them in his basement for 30 years. Well, I guess that people do strange things like that sometimes.

I still can’t believe that someone had 2 Superbirds in his basement. After this, I would probably go Superbird hunting in people’s basements. This was truly a unique and amazing find.
So, what is your dream find?
