On our site, you have seen a lot of nice Fox Bodies. However, this particular Fox Body is probably the nicest and rarest. This rare Cobra R has only 12 miles and it was vacuum sealed and stored since 1993! It is basically a brand new 28-year-old car and it is easily worth six figures.
If you wanted a brand new Cobra R back in the day, but couldn’t get it, here is your chance. The seats are still covered in plastic and all of the factory stickers and markings are present. However, the hard part is will you decide to drive it. If you drive it the value will instantly drop. However, you will experience a lot of fun and nostalgia. The Cobra R was the ultimate version of the Cobra. Stuff like the stereo, A/C, rear seat, and sound dampening was thrown out. Koni shocks, heavy duty springs, and a strut brace was thrown in. It was a lightened and tightened version of the Cobra with more power and less weight. There were only 107 made and most of them were raced.
Other than minor door damage, the car looks like it just came out of the factory. The original dead battery is still present and all of the window stickers are included. I would love to see some photos outside in the sunlight. Here comes the big question.
