It’s amazing how someone can keep his car in a time capsule condition. That is the case with this particular Fox Body. This beauty is an all-original LX 5.0 Fox Body Mustang that was found in a garage with only 29,000 miles on the clock. The car is in amazing condition and it comes with an automatic transmission, functional A/C, original 10-hole wheels, and window sticker.
As I mentioned before, the Notchback Fox Body Mustang is one of my dream cars. However, mine is in a less preserved condition with a 5-speed manual transmission. This particular Notchback is in immaculate condition. The pony wheels on this car are a common upgrade which I don’t like. However, I did mention that the owner has the original wheels that came with the car from the factory. While the paint still looks perfect on the pictures, the owner did say that it has some minor damage. This Notchback is red on red, which is very period correct for the 1990s and 1980s Mustang. The interior is all original and all red. The owner did change some parts to make the A/C working again which are: new compressor, dryer, condenser, and high and low-pressure lines. The engine doesn’t look good as the exterior but it still is a 29,000 mile running and driving engine. The owner says that the engine doesn’t have any signs of damage and that it runs and drives nicely.
With Fox Body Mustang’s values going up, this car is a very good investment. Finding an unmodified Notchback is pretty much impossible these days. This car will probably end up being stored for more years because most people look at this beast as an investment.
