1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS 427 FOUND IN A GARAGE, BUILT BY DICK HARRELL, SELLING FOR $125,000!

There are a lot of Novas, including the Super Sport versions. Well, that isn’t the case with this particular Nova. This is a one-of-a-kind Nova built by Dick Harrell. This car was found in a garage in Rye, New York and it is selling for $125,000.

Dick Harrell was a very famous racer back in the ’60s and ’70s. He was also a tuner of Chevrolet cars and his nickname was Mr. Chevrolet. His first conversion was a 1967 Camaro and later he started converting Chevelle’s and Nova’s. He was a very successful man and his business was doing pretty well. However, he didn’t stop racing and he passed away at the track when he was 39. Dick built around 20 Novas. This car is one of those 20. As you can see, this car isn’t perfect. The red paint has some damage and the car has some rust issues. The owner says that the car will need a complete restoration and he is right. This was originally a SS V8 car. The good thing about this car is the fact that this was a race car. Because of that, this car has only 14,000 miles.

This car is truly a piece of racing history. It’s far away from perfect but it still has a lot going for it. I know that a true car collector would like to own a Dick Harrell Nova.
