1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS 4-SPEED FOUND IN A BARN, RETIRED DRAG CAR, STORED FOR 30 YEARS!

There was a time when you can buy a real Nova SS for a small amount of money. Well, that time is long gone. Novas and Chevelles have become one of the most desirable muscle cars and their values have been gone up a lot in the past couple of years. While you can still find a 4-door or a non-SS Nova, finding a real Nova SS is very hard these days. Well, someone had the luck and found this amazing 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS in a barn in Connecticut. This beauty is in good condition and it was abandoned in a barn for 30 years.

As you may know, most of the Novas are used for racing. That is the case with this one. This beast was used for drag racing and that means that the original engine is long gone. This Nova has a period-correct 350 V8 under the hood. This car also has a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. The interior is just as dusty as the exterior, which proves that this beast was really abandoned for 30 years. The bucket seats are present and this car has an aftermarket shifter and an aftermarket gauge. Without a good clean-up, I can’t tell the condition of the interior.

As you can probably see from the photos, this Nova is a huge project. It will probably need a complete restoration. However, some people prefer race cars over restored cars.
What would you do if this amazing Nova SS was yours? Would you restore it or leave it as a race car?
