1 OF 180: 1988 CHEVROLET CORVETTE SURVIVOR FOUND IN A BARN!

This beauty has seven years of dust and neglect on it. That doesn’t mean that this car isn’t amazing. This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition was found in a barn in Canada after 7 years of storage. It waited 7 years for restoration that never happened. This beauty is a very rare Corvette and a very amazing car. This beauty is number 2,040 out of 2,050 35th Anniversary Edition Corvettes. Now comes the amazing part. This Corvette is a manual transmission car. This means that it is 1 of 180 made with a manual transmission. I’ve driven an automatic C4 and I must say that the manual is the way to go.

The owner didn’t send us any pictures of the engine and the interior. The Anniversary only interior had white steering wheel and white leather with black dashboard and carpet. Other Anniversary features were the black roof halo and the white belt trim. The C4 isn’t the most collectible Corvette, however, the Anniversary Edition is probably the most collectible C4 ever. Comparing the horsepower to the C8 Corvette, the C4 doesn’t seem like a powerful car. Well, people who say that are wrong. The C4 was dominating the Showroom Class GT back in 1988. It didn’t have much power but it was very fast.

Overall, this Corvette is a very amazing car and a very rare one too. It was stored for a restoration which never happened. I am sure that a true C4 ‘Vette fan knows how rare and desirable this car is. He will surely restore it and enjoy the heck out of it.
