It’s not very uncommon to see a low mileage Corvette. However, a 257 mile Corvette is very uncommon. This beauty was found in a garage.
The previous owner of this car says that he bought the car and stored it. I can’t quite understand people like him. Why would you buy a car if you won’t enjoy it? It sat in a garage for 26 years and he only stared at it. It is a beautiful car yes, but why? If I bought a new Corvette I would drive the heck out of it. And the irony is that the car didn’t even go up in price. This particular car was sold for $32,000, the previous owner didn’t even make money. As you would probably expect, the car is perfect all the way. The seats are still covered in plastic and the engine doesn’t even have any signs of usage or damage. There is a small letdown to this whole story. The car has an automatic transmission. A lot of C4 enthusiasts prefer a manual transmission. The previous owner also had new wheels and tires which were never used.
When dealing with this kind of low mileage car there are a lot of questions. The biggest question is will you drive it or store it for even more years?
Let me know in the comments what would you do with this amazing Corvette.
