Most of the younger people will never experience old American luxury. There is nothing better than riding through America in an old Cadillac. While most of the olds Cadillacs were scraped, this one rested in a barn in Wisconsin. It is a 1976 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with 32,000 miles on the clock.
This Caddy is close to showroom condition and it is probably one of the nicest ’70s Cadillac around. It is all original and the current owner refreshed it with some new parts. He changed the brake lines, front rotors, wheel bearings, rear wheel cylinders, battery, spark plugs, and a complete set of hoses and belts. He made the car ready for many more miles. As you can see in the pictures, the car is perfect all the way. The interior is red, perfect, and all original. While the exterior looks perfect, the owner says that it has some small spots of rust bubbling. That isn’t a big issue and it will probably be a small fix. Under the hood, this Caddy has its original 500 V8 engine. This engine was very well known for its smoothness and low-end torque. This engine produced around 200 horsepower back in 1976 due to the emission controls and catalytic converters. You can tell that the goal with this car was to make it luxurious, not fast.
Overall, this Caddy is a very nice car. Except for some small rust issues, the car is perfect all the way. The exterior is original and straight, the interior is original and red, and the engine is original and smooth. The only thing that this car needs is an owner who will enjoy American luxury car miles.
