1969 CHEVROLET YENKO CHEVELLE 427 SURVIVOR FOUND IN A GARAGE, HAS ONLY 1200 MILES, RETIRED DRAG CAR!

Without any doubt, the 1200 miles on this Chevelle were made on the drag track. This Chevelle is a 2-owner car that has documentation since 1969. It was found in a garage in Illinois.

The skinny tires in the front and wide tires in the back make the purpose of this car very clear. The person who raced this car was Nick Morocco. He was the original owner of the car and he made one small change on the car. He replaced the L72 iron head engine with an aluminum head to make the car faster on the race track. 18 years ago, the car was restored by a shop in Pennsylvania. After the restoration, the owner stored the car in his garage and never moved it until now. As you probably expect, the interior of the car is perfect. It proves that the mileage is real and it basically looks brand new. As I mentioned, the original engine is still under the hood, however, it does have some modifications. The engine looks very clean and the current owner says that it runs and drives very well. The current owner also said that the engine makes around 450 horsepower, honestly, I won’t be surprised if it made more than that.

Overall, this is a very nice Chevelle with an interesting story. Of course, the engine modifications make it less desirable, but it still is a numbers matching low mileage Yenko Chevelle. With that mileage and the famous 427 V8 engine, I am sure that someone will fell in love with it.
The big question is will the next owner drive it or store it?
