1 OF 7: 1969 FORD GALAXIE 500 CONVERTIBLE 429 4-SPEED FOUND IN A BARN!

Just imagine a big Ford convertible with Candyapple red paint and a white top, it looks amazing I know. Well, that is what we have here, except all of it is faded out. This car is a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible. It has a very special engine under the hood and Ford made only 7 of them. This beast was found in a barn and it has the famous 429 V8 engine hooked up to a 4-Speed manual transmission.

This car doesn’t look perfect. However, what lies under all that fade is a truly amazing car. The overall condition of the car is solid. The interior has some issues but they aren’t a very big problem. I personally don’t like those seats. They make the car look very cheap and ordinary. The original engine is still under the hood. This beast the famous 429 Thunder-Jet engine which made around 360 horsepower back in 1969. The car also has a lot of interesting options such as power steering and brakes, 15-inch white walls, and a basic AM radio. By looking at the gas can, you can tell that the car runs.

Overall, this is a very rare and solid Galaxie. It will need some work yes, however, when restored I am sure that it will turn a couple of heads and be the main attraction at a show. It is very rare to see a full-size Ford from this era with a 429 V8 engine under the hood. God, I love this car.
