1970 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 302 FOUND IN A JUNKYARD!

When this 1970 Boss came out of the factory in October 1969 it was a very special car. However, 50 years have passed since then and this car is crying for help. This is a real 1970 Mustang Boss 302 and they made only 6,319 of these in 1970. This beast was found in a junkyard in California and it is crying to see Boss enthusiasts with big pockets.

Time and weather have not been kind to this Mustang. This beast has a lot of rust, and I mean A LOT. It has major rust issues in the floors and the torque boxes. There is also rust showing in the lower fenders, lower doors, and some visible in the rockers. The owner has a lot of parts that belong to this car such as the driver’s side quarter panel,  front bumper, and brackets, along with a wiper motor and linkage. The rest of the parts are missing as you can see. This car is more of a WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET situation. As you can see the situation in the interior is not better. Everything that is still there is ruined. The interior will need a complete restoration and I don’t think that some of the parts can be salvageable. The original 302 V8 engine and 4-Speed transmission are long gone. The owner says that he has a period-correct engine along with a 4-speed transmission. That is kind of good news.

Is this Boss worth saving? Well, it will need a complete restoration and it will never be an original car. Even if it has a restoration, the original engine is long gone and most of the original parts are long gone. If it was restored it could reach up to six figures.
What do you think, is it worth saving it?
