1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 FOUND IN A BARN, STORED FOR 40 YEARS!

This Oldsmobile has a lot of going for it, an original paint, an original engine that runs, minor rust issues, and some other good things. Overall, this car is a great project for someone who wants to restore a rare and desirable car. This 442 was found in a barn in Pennsylvania after being stored there since 1980.

This car has a lot of original documentation and information that proves that this is really a good project car. As I mentioned, it has some minor rust issues, but for a car that is very desirable, patch panels will be easy to find. If you don’t want patch panels, you can easily find replacement panels for cheap. The underside of the car looks very well and rust-free. The interior is complete, however, you will need some upholstery work done to it.

The owner says that he got the engine running, but the engine has a knocking noise when it runs. That was probably the reason why someone abandoned this beast for many years. Being the original 455 V8 engine, it surely deserves a quality rebuild.
Do you like this well documented 442 Olds?
