There are a lot of cars left to rust away. It’s always a sad sight to see. That is the case with this car. This car is a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 4-Speed Convertible. This beauty was left in a Chicago yard for 20 years.
This car is a huge project. The car has a lot of rust and a lot of major issues. One of those major issues is the interior. The driver’s seat is sinking because the floors are rusted away. While the interior is complete, most of it will need a restoration or a replacement. The only good thing in the interior is the seats’ upholstery. The owner only sent us a half-engine photo. I can’t see what kind of engine this is, I am sure that one of our readers will know. All I know is that the engine is in bad condition and this Impala will probably need a new engine.
Restored Impalas like this one could reach up to six figures. However, this Impala is far away from that. This beauty will need a complete nut and bolt restoration to make it perfect again. The car is very rusty, it will need a new roof, new engine, new interior and a lot of other parts.
So, is this Impala worth saving?
