Sometimes, Holy Grail cars are found in a barn. Well, that is the case with this 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS409. This beauty was found in a barn in Michigan.
If you are an Impala fan you probably know that the 64 SS409 Impala is a legend, especially the dual four-barrel carburetor version. This Impala comes with the original 409 V8 engine but the engine isn’t in the car. As you probably know, 409 Impalas were offered with a manual transmission which this car has. The car is in good condition and the owner has done some work to the car. The exterior of the car is in good condition and it doesn’t have any signs of dings, dents, or rust. The Chevrolet rally wheels aren’t original and they were bought back in 1967. The interior is in good condition and it will probably need a good clean-up to make it look very good.
Overall, this Impala is pretty decent. If the 409 is really included with the car, then this car is a gold mine. An Impala fan who knows about SS409 Impalas will probably restore this beauty and make it perfect again.
