TWO 1958 CHEVROLET IMPALA SURVIVORS FOUND IN A GARAGE, SELLING FOR $120,000!

The 1958 Impala is an amazing car. It is truly a one-year wonder. It was a way bigger and wider car than the 1957 Impala. These particular Impalas were found in a garage in Louisiana. One of them is a hardtop and the other one is a convertible. They both are highly original survivor cars with a price tag of $120,000.

I don’t know why the 1958 Impala was a one year only, but I do know that it is truly an amazing car. Chevy sold a lot of Impalas in 1958 including 58,000 Convertibles. These particular cars were bought brand new in California. In the late ’80s, the original owner sold them to a man in Louisiana. This man put the cars into his garage and he never moved them again. As I mentioned one of the Impalas is a convertible and the other one is a hardtop. The Convertible impala features its original 349 V8 engine. The engine was rebuilt and it runs and drives very well. The car is mostly original and it is in excellent condition. The Hardtop Impala has only 67,000 miles. This Impala is more original than the other one. The engine wasn’t rebuilt and it runs and drives. The car also features an automatic transmission and power steering.

Overall, these Impalas are very decent cars. They have some non-original parts but that isn’t a big issue. The big question is, are they really worth $120,000?
I will leave the readers to answer my question.
