1 OF 600: 1970 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS396 L78 M21 FOUND IN A BARN!

When you talk about a desirable car you probably don’t think about the second-gen Camaro. Well, this 1970 Camaro is a very desirable car. This beast is a real SS396 L78 car. This makes the car 1 of only 600 made. This beast was found in a barn in Florida.

When they found the car, nobody knew that this was a very rare Camaro. This beast is a numbers matching SS396 L78 M21 Camaro. It made around 375 horsepower in 1970 and it has a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. The owner of this car tried to keep the car as original as possible. The interior is original and untouched. However, it does have some flaws and it will need some work to make it perfect. As I mentioned this car is numbers matching and the engine is original. The engine runs and drives nicely. While on papers this car produced 375 horsepower, car enthusiasts said that the real numbers are around 425 horsepower. The biggest problem that this car has is the paint. While everything is original, the paint isn’t. This Camaro had a repaint in its original color because it had a lot of surface rust. I can surely say that they did a wonderful job.

This Camaro is truly a highly original survivor car. It has some minor problems but with the right amount of time and money that would be fixed in no time. This car probably is one of the most original L78 out there.
