5 OF 200: 1986 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO AEROCOUPES FOUND IN A BARN IN INDIANA!

In a barn in Indiana lied 5 Monte Carlo Aerocoupes which were built to meet NASCAR homologation requirements. Chevy made only 200 of these cars and 5 of them were found in a barn in Indiana.

The owner didn’t give us much information about the cars. The pictures aren’t clear and I can’t see the condition of the cars. There are some pictures of two cars which don’t look that good. The first car appears to have some rust issues. The body is complete and most of the car is present and original. The second car isn’t better. The second car also has some rust issues and it has some parts missing. The performance of the Monte Carlo SS and the Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe was the same. However, the looks weren’t. The Aerocoupes looked way better in my opinion.

With 5 cars on the line, this sure isn’t a small project. Most of the cars are present and original as you can see. However, the condition of the car is the thing that worries me. I am assuming that the cars weren’t carefully stored. That is probably the reason for the condition of the cars. With Monte Carlos on the rise, I am sure that a true G body fan will bring these cars back to their former glory.
