Anyone who buys cars frequently has experience with people that don’t like to see their car parted out. That is the case with this 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. The person who found this car, says that this car won’t be parted out. I have to say that I agree with him. This car was found in a yard in New Jersey.
The interior of this Monte Carlo isn’t in such a bad condition as it looks. The interior is original and most of the parts are present. The only work needed in the interior is a good clean-up. This Monte Carlo is loaded with features such as Sunroof, BUCKET SEATS W/ FLOOR SHIFTER (much more desirable) AC power windows, locks, tilt wheel. The engine is probably the best-looking part of the car. The engine is a numbers matching 305 V8 engine that features a 4-barrel carburetor. According to the owner, the engine runs perfectly. The engine also features some upgrades such as Long tube headers, Edelbrock Intake, True Dual exhaust, (no stock Y pipe no cat) shift kit, new alum. radiator, alternator, MSD ignition, wires, and coil pack, Performance Underdrive pulleys, Smog delete.
While this car isn’t perfect, it still runs and it doesn’t have any major issues. With a little amount of time and money, this can be a very good-looking Monte Carlo. This car will also be very fast considering the upgrades in the engine.
