This GTO endured a lot of trials before it was stored around 1990. This is a real GTO Judge which was found in a barn in Oklahoma. The owner didn’t know much about the car so I helped him clear some things up.
Back in the day, Pontiac wasn’t satisfied by the sales of the GTO Judge. People weren’t buying them and that made these cars rarer and more desirable over the years. This particular Judge has a lot going for it. It is finished in white color which looked very cool back in the day. The car is in solid condition. It does have some rust issues which aren’t anything major. The paint is faded and it has a lot of patina, which looks very cool by the way. The body is straight and it doesn’t have any signs of wreck damage. The interior of the car is present but it isn’t in a good condition. As you can see the floors have some rust, the original AM radio isn’t present and the dash has a big crack. The original engine that lied under the hood was a 400 V8. That engine is long gone and a 1972 455 V8 took his place. This 455 V8 is also locked and this car will need a replacement engine.
Overall, this car will need a lot of work to bring it back to its original shape. It will need rust repair, new paint, a new engine, a new interior, and some other minor things. If you combine all that what you get is a lot of time and money. However, this is a GTO Judge, this means that this car will be restored no matter the cost. I am sure that a true Judge fan won’t worry too much about the time and the money that will be invested in this car.
