This Buccaneer Red Trans Am was found in a yard in Pennsylvania and it has a solid body and a clean title.
The thing that excites me about this car is that the body is very solid. The paint looks awful and there are a lot of signs that it had a repaint but the good thing is that it has only surface corrosion. Don’t be fooled when you look at this car because the owner has a lot of the original parts but they aren’t attached to the car. The trunk appears to be in good condition however, the underside of the car has some rust issues. The interior was white with orange and it doesn’t look all bad. It will need a new carpet and new seats however, the rest of it doesn’t appear to be in bad condition. There are some parts missing but the owner says that he has those parts. This truck had some interesting features such as tilt steering, a Hurst shifter, and an 8-Track player. All of these features are still in the car. The original engine is a 400 V8 engine which is hooked up to a Muncie 4-speed transmission. The owner says that the engine turns freely but it doesn’t run.
There is no doubt that the car is rough. The good thing is that the body is very solid. This car will absolutely need a full restoration and I imagine that the end project will be a wonderful muscle car.
What is this beast worth if it was restored?
