The owner of this Nova says that this is a numbers matching SS Nova that still has the original engine, transmission and, 12-bolt rear end. The car was found in a yard in the Midwest after being parked there since 1988 and it has some minor body issues.
As the owner mentioned, this car has some body issues. The issues are in the right rear quarter panel, the panel has some body damage. If you take that away, the car has a very straight body. The owner says that the paint is original, the interior is original and, that he has the original rear bumper. The interior is a big mystery. Everything is original but none of it is in good condition. The seats will need a new upholstery and it will take a professional to determine if the carpet is saveable.
As mentioned, this Nova comes with the original engine, which is a 350 V8 hooked up to a Turbo transmission. After 32 years, the engine started and ran with the same gas that was in the car since 1988. The owner said that the car runs and drives very well and that it only needs a good engine cleaning.
So, can we call this Nova a survivor?
