1970 CHEVROLET NOVA SS FOUND IN A BARN, STORED FOR 32 YEARS!

This 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS is described as a real barn find that has been stored since 1988. This car was a daily driver and someone drove it from Indiana to Oklahoma in 1988 and then he stored it and it wasn’t touched until now.

When you look at the pictures the first time, this car looks solid. But, when you see it again you can notice that the right quarter panel is damaged and it will need to be replaced. It will need a lot of panel pounding and Bondo to make it perfect again. The other side of the car looks good and straight, however, the trunk lid has some rust issues and I don’t know why the trunk door is a different color from the rest of the car. The interior is complete but the seats will need to be restored/replaced and the owner mentioned that this car has rust under the seats. I am sure that the whole interior will be an easy fix because Nova parts can be found easily on the web.

Under the hood, this beast has Chevy’s L48 350 V8 engine which is hooked up to a Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 automatic transmission. This engine made around 300 horsepower which is a lot for a lightweight car like this one. The owner said that the engine runs well and that it doesn’t sound like it has some issues. The owner even has a lot of parts to upgrade this beast so I guess that is a good thing.
Would you restore this rare Nova?
