1970 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 FOUND IN A GARAGE, HAS ONLY 43K MILES, WAS STORED FOR 38 YEARS!

This Camaro is a very good project for a lot of reasons. It is a real Z28 that was stored in a garage for 38 years. It has only 43,000 miles and it came out of the factory in Hugger Orange.

The current owner found the car on a dirt floor in a garage. The original engine is long gone, however, the car has a replacement 350 V8 under the hood. The manual transmission was converted to an automatic in the late ’70s. The current owner says that the car still has some unique features such as the original 4.11 12-bolt rear end (still with the car); power steering; 8,000 RPM tach and 150 m.p.h. speedometer; one-year-only bucket seats; an uncut dash (including the radio area); and the original steering wheel and 4-speed column. The floors and the truck pan appear to be in good condition without any signs of rust. The original engine of the car blew up in the late ’70s.

I would love to see this Camaro restored. Just imagine a real 1970 Z28 painted in Hugger Orange. It will surely be the perfect muscle car. However, my imagination needs a lot of time money to become reality. I am sure that a true Camaro lover will invest his time and money to turn this beast into the perfect muscle car.
