1969 DODGE CHARGER R/T 440 PLUM CRAZY FOUND IN A YARD!

We’ve seen some pretty unhappy and sad sights once it involves potential project cars here at Cars Trucks Finds, however, this 1969 Dodge Charger should be right up there with the most effective, or worst, of them. Time and therefore the weather has done the automotive no favors, and currently, the owner decided to part ways with it. it’s been found parked in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The dreadful tin-worm has definitely gotten a decent hold on the Charger, and nothing has been spared. The floors are all gone, as are the frame rails. There extremely isn’t a lot of within the approach of fine steel left during this poor automotive. On the good side, the grille appears like it’s in nice condition, also the glass appears to be in nice condition. There are some good external trim items, however, that is all that is left on the surface of the vehicle. Nestling within the engine bay of the Charger once it absolutely was new was a 383ci V8. That has currently gone, however, the news isn’t all dangerous. what’s currently there’s a 440 Magnum, and also the owner says that it runs well in which the oil is clean. identical characteristics are shared with the 727 transmission, whereas the rear end of the car may be a Sure Grip, that the owner believes that this is a 3,23 ratio. The automotive additionally options steering mechanism, power disc brakes, and factory offered air condition. I assume that with all of the gloom and doom related to the Charger’s body, we need to see some excellent news about this car somewhere.

In the interior of this Charger, we see a lot of good and bad stuff. The gauge cluster appears to be original and complete and we think that it will be very easy to restore it. The interior also features the desirable Tic Toc Tach, this is also a very desirable feature and it looks like it could be restored. The center console looks to be restorable also and it features the wood grain wheel with some wood grain trim. Other parts of the interior are still there but most of them are not restorable and will probably end up in a scrapyard.

When I look at this Charger it breaks my heart. I bet this was a stunning car back in the days and I think that this is still saveable but you have to be very careful with it because it looks like it is very fragile.
