1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS396 L78 SURVIVOR FOUND IN A BARN, IT WAS STORED SINCE 1982!

The owner of this car is a man who appreciates classic cars very much. He says that he won’t let anyone restore this Nova, I hate to say that he is right. This Nova is a real SS396 car that was found in a barn in Washington. This car is a highly original survivor car that was stored for 39 years.

As I mentioned this car was in hibernation for 39 years. The car still wears its original Hugger Orange paint and the body is very straight. The car wasn’t touched for 39 years and the current owner changed some necessary parts to make it road-worthy again. The trim, the chrome, and the glass all appear to be in perfect condition. The special part about this car is hidden under the hood. That special part is the famous 396 V8 L78 engine that produced around 375 horsepower back in 1969. The engine is hooked up to a 4-speed manual transmission, it is truly a legendary combination. The owner says that some parts in the engine were replaced to make it run and drive perfectly. The interior is all black and original. There aren’t any good pictures of the interior, but I do see a bench seat. The interior will probably need some parts replaced or restored to make it perfect again.

The owner of this Nova describes the car as a Holy Grail Nova and I completely agree with him. To find an L78 SS396 Nova in this condition is almost impossible these days. This is truly an incredible car and an incredible find.
