1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE YENKO S/C 427 FOUND IN A GARAGE, WAS STORED FOR 47 YEARS, HAS ONLY 19K MILES!

Can you imagine the feeling you get when you find the rarest and most desirable Chevelle ever made buried in a garage? Well, Rick and his fiance Annie had the chance to experience that feeling. It all started when Rick received a call about a Chevelle that was untouched for 47 years. When they got to the garage they found two buried cars in a garage. They weren’t satisfied at first, but their mood changed quite a bit when they pulled the cars out of the garage.

When they got the car out in the sunlight, it was a magical view. A real deal Yenko Chevelle! It doesn’t get much better than that. They asked the family about the car, the response was an amazing story. When the previous owner got his Yenko, he went out to shoot some pool. When he left the place the car wasn’t in the parking lot. He reported it stolen and police found the car damaged 2 weeks later. He pulled the car apart with plans of fixing it, however, he never got to do it. The car remained in the garage since then. That is why the odometer is only at 19,000 miles. However, in this kind of shape, the mileage doesn’t change anything. Most of the car’s parts are scattered in and out of the garage. Rick says that everything is there except for the transmission. He started his search for the transmission. Many of the front-end parts are also missing, but replacing them won’t be a big issue.

Rick and Annie got the car in their shop and started fixing it. Rick says that a lot of parts are missing, but the upside is that the car doesn’t have any rust. They say that they plan to bring this car back to its original shape.
I am glad to say that we will be looking forward to this.
