1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS396 L78 M22 FOUND IN A STORAGE UNIT!

You really have to love finds like this one. This rare 1969 Camaro SS396 L78 M22 was found in a storage unit in New Jersey where it had spent the last 17 years of its life.

Being an unrestored and unpreserved Camaro, you know that it has a lot of rust issues. Rust is present in parts such as the floors, the quarter panels, rockers, doors, and lower fenders. The car appears to have an RS grille and a lot of Z/28 parts, but the owner has the documentation to prove that this is a real SS car. The interior appears to be complete, but some parts will need to be restored and other parts will need a good clean up and detailing. The original engine is long gone, but this beast has a date correct 396 V8 L78 engine under the hood. This engine is hooked up to the original M22 4-speed transmission and a Posi rear end. The owner says that the engine turns but it doesn’t run.

There is no doubt that this is a very desirable Camaro. A car that has been sitting in a storage unit for many years has a lot of potential. The problem is that this car needs a person who sees potential in it. The current owner started restoring it and I am sure that this will turn up to be a very original and rare car.
Do you see potential in this rare Camaro?
