1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS396 FOUND IN A HANGAR!

Barns, garages, yards aren’t the only places where you can find old and rare cars. These days you can find them in storage units, carports, junkyards. But, the plot twist is, have you ever heard about a rare car being found in a hangar? Well, if you haven’t, this is the find for you. This 1969 Camaro was found in an airplane hangar in California and this Camaro is a real SS396 car.

I would love to know the person who left this beast in a hangar. I would ask him why did he left it there and how much time was the car there. The car is very solid without any rust issues. I can see overspray on the paint, which suggests that the car was repainted back in the day. The underside of the car looks very solid as you can see from the picture. The exhaust looks very good and the car doesn’t appear to have any rust issues on the underside. I didn’t get any info about the interior so I will get straight to the engine. As you can see from the title, this Camaro has a 396 V8 under the hood. This engine is hooked up to a 4-Speed manual transmission which is backed up by a 12-bolt Posi rear end. The only non-original mechanical parts are the intake and the carburetor. Everything else is original and the engine runs and drives very well.

This Camaro is really a very rare and desirable find. The car is very solid and a lot of people are interested in it. While I am not a Chevy guy, I wouldn’t mind owning this amazing Camaro. The story is very interesting and you don’t see a car left in a hangar every day.
