This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle was found in a junkyard after being parked there for 38 years. The Chevelle is a numbers matching SS396 and it was left in a junkyard because of an accident.

Rust is present in the floors, along with both lower fenders, and the lower quarter panel on the passenger side. The frame looks solid, as do the rockers. Under the hood, this car has a numbers matching 396 V8 engine. While the engine is there, the original 4-speed manual transmission is long gone. The car doesn’t have power steering, power brakes and it is a genuine 325 horsepower muscle car. While the interior is complete, it will probably need a complete restoration. Everything in the interior is in bad condition.
Overall, this Chevelle will need a lot of work. The good thing is that the numbers matching engine is there. With Chevelle prices raising, I am sure that this beast will get the TLC that it needs.
