This truck escaped the shredder. This is a 1967 Ford Bronco U14. This truck was found in a junkyard and it is a very big project that will require a lot of rust repair.
The Bronco U14 is different from the base model. You can notice a U14 Bronco by the squared-off cab and truncated bed that resembles a shortened version of a traditional pickup’s storage area. The closest example to the U14 Bronco is the Suzuki Samurai. However, the U14 Bronco had a 289 V8 engine under the hood. The interior of this truck isn’t as bad as the exterior. Most of the interior is original and it will probably need a complete restoration. The owner says that the mileage is 12,000, however, the odometer was probably rolled over.
This Bronco is indeed a very rare and a very desirable truck. However, the condition of this Bronco is very bad. I don’t know if this project will be worth it in the end. What do you think? Is this Bronco U14 worthy of a restoration?
