You don’t have to see this car two times to determine that it has a lot of rust. This is a real Chevelle SS396 and it comes with a clean title and the VIN and trim tag are present. This beast was found in a yard in Texas and it is missing a lot of parts.
In 1965 the Chevelle SS396 came out. It was a true beast and they made only 201 of those that year. By 1967, Chevrolet made a lot more Chevelle SS396s and they aren’t worth as much as 1965 Chevelles. This car has a lot of issues. The biggest issue is rust. This car has a lot of rust, even the engine block is rusty. It has the original engine but as I said it is rusty and it isn’t complete. The VIN tag includes the 13817 code which makes this a genuine Chevelle SS396.
This car is a huge gamble. It will surely be a badass muscle car with that black on black color combination. The biggest problem is rust. Restoring this car will take a lot of time and money.
