1967 CHEVROLET CAMARO RS 396 4-SPEED PACE CAR CONVERTIBLE FOUND IN A GARAGE!

Known as America’s most popular race, the Indianapolis 500 has thrilled spectators and drivers alike for over 100 years. Each year there was a road car that paces the warm-ups and caution laps. These cars receive unique preparation and the manufacturer sells a limited amount of cars to the public. This is one of those cars. This is a 1967 Camaro Pace Car and this beast was found in a garage in Florida.

When we look at the VIN number we see something amazing. The amazing thing is a 396 V8 engine hooked up to a 4-speed manual transmission, Ermine White color with a white top, bucket seats, RS package, and a console. There is one thing missing and that is the 061A Fleet Number Pace Car Code, but the owner says that this is a real deal. While the picture tells us that this beast has corrosion, the owner says that the metal on this car is restorable.

This car has a lot of desirable features and if the owner has documentation to prove that this is a real race car, then we are looking at big figures right here. The bad thing is that this beast has some rust issues and it will need a complete restoration. I am sure that a true Camaro lover will accept the fact that this beast needs to be saved and that he will be the one who saves it.
