This beast was found in a barn in Alabama and it is a real SS with a 454 V8 hooked up to a 4-speed manual transmission under the hood.
Today, the term “barn find” is something that you see every day. The selling point today is the car is 1 of 19 made, or has been driven to the moon, or is the first Ferrari that was owned by a famous person. This particular car was found in the ’90s and someone tried restoring it. He fixed up the floors and the rust, and he left it like that in another barn. We don’t know the reason why the car was left again, but it surely is an amazing story. The best news about this car is that it is a real SS Chevelle. If you are hoping for a factory engine then you need to move along. The original 396 V8 engine is long gone and this beast has a 454 V8 under the hood. The condition of this engine is unknown and the transmission is a 4-speed manual.
Originally a Marina Blue with a black interior, this Chevelle has been changed a lot. The missing dash components tell me that the car has been stripped at some point. With time passing by, this Chevelle needs restoration before it all turns to rust (again).
