1964 PONTIAC GTO TRI-POWER 4-SPEED FOUND IN A STORAGE UNIT, FIRE VICTIM!

There is nothing worst than the picture of your old muscle car burning. That is the case with this amazing Pontiac. This is a 1964 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power 4-speed and as you can see this car is a fire victim. This one-owner muscle car was involved in a garage fire and the question is: is there really hope for this beast?

Although burnt, the numbers matching 389 Tri-Power engine is still under the hood and the owner says that it turns freely. The engine was rebuilt in 1998 and since then it didn’t acquire many miles. Sadly, the Tri-Power is burnt and the factory 4-speed manual transmission is missing. The intake manifold looks to be in good condition and another good thing is that the engine is rust-free. The third picture is very sad. It shows that most of the parts were burnt and sadly only 10% of the car wasn’t caught by the fire. The roof is also toasted and it looks to me like something fell on it, that issue will need to be addressed quickly.

Overall, this is a very rare and cool car that needs to be saved eventually. Numbers of GTOs like this one have been going up and with a lot of time and money, I think that this will end up being a very cool muscle car.
