This 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV is a very rare car. Sadly, it isn’t very valuable. This beauty isn’t valuable because of the condition that is in. It’s a 1 of 81 made Ram Air IV car that was found in a yard with 64,000 miles on the odometer.
This car has PHS documentation and a clean title. However, it doesn’t have the original 400 V8 engine. The original transmission is missing also. Good thing is that it still has the original 3.90 rear end. In the interior, you can see that the car still has its original Ram Air lever. Most of the interior is present and original. It is in good condition and most of the parts can be easily restored. Sadly, the floors are very rusty and they will need a replacement. Rust is also present on the underside of the car. The exhaust, wheel wells, suspension, and frame are all rusted out. The body of the car is also rusty and it will need a complete restoration.
Overall, this GTO is a very rusty car. Except for the interior, everything will need to be replaced. Because of the rarity, I think that this beast deserves a quality restoration. The question is, will it be worth it?
