1 OF 1: 1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 EXPERIMENTAL WAGON BARN FIND!

If you are a big Oldsmobile fan then this will be a very interesting article for you. What we have here is a very special and unique car. The car is a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Experimental Wagon. It is the only 1 produced and it is a Prototype built by the factory. This Prototype was a cross between a 442 and a Vista Cruiser. It was found in a garage in Florida.

This Oldsmobile started its life as an ordinary 442. After that, they modified it and turned it into a 442 Wagon. This car was a Prototype to get the people’s response. It was specially built by Bently Mitchell. Mitchell-Bently was the corporation that helped GM built their special cars. Under the hood, the car has a 455 V8 engine. The owner didn’t mention if this is the original engine. The owner says that he has all of the original parts for the car at his garage. Some are already restored. He also says that the metal on the car is in good condition and that it is ready for paint. I would love to see more information and pictures.

This is quite an interesting concept. It is very unique. I don’t personally know how much money is a car like this one worth. All I know is that someone will end up owning a piece of GM’s history and a pretty fast wagon.
