While I appreciate the Marti Report a lot, most people tend to use it in the wrong ways. That is the case with this 1969 Mustang Mach 1. This Mustang is a 1 of 1 car proven by Marti Report. However, it is a 1 of 1 car because of the configuration. It doesn’t have anything special. It is a 390 V8 4-Speed Mustang. However, it has a very interesting story. I think the story of this car makes it more valuable than the 1 of 1 made thing. This beauty was found in a garage in South Carolina and it is a mostly original survivor.
As you can see, the pictures from the Marti Report prove that this car is really a 1 of 1 car. It is the only Acapulco Blue Mustang with a 390 V8 engine, 4-speed transmission, bucket seats, AM/8-track, air conditioning, and intermittent wipers. It is cool to see that this is really a 1 of 1 car, but Ford made a lot of Mustangs with 390s in them. The 320 horsepower 390 V8 engine is still under the hood and it is all original. I must say that the person who ordered this Mustang wanted a fast and comfortable car, in the end, he got one. Here is the interesting part. This car was stored for 50 years. The person who bought it drove it for 2 years, put 51k miles on the car, and stored it until now. With a 320 horsepower engine and a 4-Speed transmission, this car sure has a lot of FUN in it.
Other than a repaint, this car is 100% original. It’s in very good condition and it just needs minor detailing. The car was sold for a huge price and I think it’s worth it. It’s a big block Mustang survivor with a unique combination and low mileage. It doesn’t get much better than that.
So, is this 1 of 1 Mustang really worth big bucks?
